The project involved the replacement of the three chillers, three chilled water pumps, three condenser water pumps, the twin cooling towers, all of the condenser water piping system, some chilled water piping, all main plant electrics and upgrade of main plant DDC controls, while keeping the Hospital supplied with minimal chilled water via a supplementary air cooled chiller.
West Australian Mechanical Services completed all the works ahead of time and within the budget and at all times maintained the operational integrity of the Hospital.
