Engineering & BIM Building Information Modelling by our in-house engineers.

Since its inception, West Australian Mechanical Services has employed in-house engineers and drafting personnel to ensure the quality and long term efficacy of our work.

The Engineering and Drafting teams work very closely together to ensure that all legislation and standards are surpassed and to avoid any unnecessary mistakes during the construction period.  This front-end work encourages efficiency in design and reduces delay during construction.

West Australian Mechanical Services is at the forefront in the mechanical services industry in being able to provide full engineering and 3D services for clients, including Design and Construct projects.  Our early development work in this area enabled WAMS to assist our clients with their critical needs of cost savings and efficiency in design. As technology and markets change, being able to provide positive feedback in these vital areas is paramount in our industry today.

Building Information Modelling  (BIM) plays a role in all of our major projects, with the level of BIM varying from project to project depending upon our client's needs.  Modelling our projects this way enables WAMS to aid in early clash detection with Architectural, Structural and other services. Our clients are seeing and understanding the cost and time advantages of working with WAMS from the very beginning of a project.

The above rendered images are taken from the construction documents produced by WAMS using AutoDesk Revit software, which WAMS can deliver to clients before projects commence.

Utilising Revit assists in the design and construction of projects to reduce waste, early clash detection with all areas and enables a virtual build so that any unforeseen issues can be avoided and the whole team can understand the outcomes.

AutoDesk Revit software also has the capacity for 4D, 5D and 6D which is becoming more frequently questioned when early Design and Construct projects are being planned.
