Fitness First is one of the largest Health Centre Groups in the world with all of their facilities being targeted at the top end of the fitness market, and are one of the largest fitness centre operators in Western Australia; the mechanical services component for this project involved the installation of an Air Change ACPP5000 PoolPac unit used to serve the swimming pool area within the club.
The unit is located on the roof with a combination of painted aluminum duct work and round fabric duct installed for the specific purpose of preventing condensation build up on the perimeter glass windows.
The systems operation will run on a time schedule that will automatically start and stop the equipment as required to suit the demands of the building. Operation will switch between cool, fan and heat to maintain the desired temperature and to minimize running costs and general wear to the equipment.
